Change the month and I think I could have started my last several articles with the following sentence. May was definitely another busy month for members of the Dallas Dog and Disc Club! Of course, our May 1st ALPO regional competition is old news by now, but that competition was quickly followed by additional activities.

If you have ever seen the back of George Ostrander's truck, you've seen the phrase "Have Frisbee, will travel."  Once again this month our club definitely epitomized those words as we saw members travel as far as Florida and New York to compete, while back here at home many of you did some traveling of your own. In addition to the May playday on the grounds of Ft. Worth's Kimball Art Museum, many of you turned out for the annual ALPO Dallas Local.  Then, the very next day, six members made the 200-mile drive to Austin to perform for enthusiastic crowds, while six more members stayed

closer to home to perform in Grapevine. To say the least, May was a very busy, high mileage month for the DDD.

As the weather continues to warm-up over the next several months, we will start to see a decrease in our canine disc activities and a move from AM playdays to PM playdays.  But, before putting your discs away and hibernating in the air conditioning be sure and mark your calendars for our next playday on June 12th and the ALPO Arlington Local on June 19th.

I hope to see you all on the 12th!

Chuck
