April is upon us which means that the Regional competition must be right around the corner. If you've been practicing as little as I have, that can be a very scary thought.

Our spring weather, which as we all know can be unpredictable this time of year, forced the cancellation of our March 13th Fun Match. We may have been able to overcome the wind or the rain or the cold, but all three combined were just too much to ignore. Fun matches are meant to be learning experiences, and I think if we had tried to have the match under the conditions presented to us by Mother Nature, we would have all walked away having only learned that we should have stayed in bed. Fortunately, we were able to regroup and reschedule the event for the following Saturday, March 20. Hopefully, it was a learning experience for some and for others a much needed opportunity to get out and exercise the dogs.

Looking forward to the busy April calendar, we have our regularly scheduled playday on the 2nd Saturday, the 10th. Then our first real competition of the year, the Coppell Local, comes up the very next Saturday on the 17th. The following Saturday has
