brought out several teams I had not seen compete before. These teams competed in two mini distance throws on a 20-yard field. Congratulations are also due for Hector Gomez and his dog Cheyenne. This new member placed second in his first contest with a total score of 52 points. Not bad for the new guy.
We even had the special treat of having the current World Champs - Bob Evans and Luke -- perform some of their award winning moves in a demonstration between rounds.
This contest could not have been such a success without the hard work from MANY club members and Canine Commissary. Canine Commissary went above and beyond. They donated 300 goodie bags for contestants and spectators, not to mention the trophies for the top five in

each division. The club provided the top three finishers with some really fun gift baskets as well. Thanks go out to Karen Ferguson for all her work in organizing these items. She also did a wonderful job of obtaining at least 10 gift certificates that were raffled off to the competitors throughout the day. A special thanks also goes to Danna Culligan (Kimo's Mom) who helped with the score keeping. She by far did the best job of keeping up with the scores to date and may have earned herself a job for life. John Stephenson went above the call of duty and created great promo signs for the event that we will be able to use at future events and Bob Sands was a great help with the music. The contest would have gone nowhere without our great judges - Bob Evans and blast from the past, Dan Washburn. They did a great job and it was fun seeing Dan again. I also have to
