What we can all be sure of is that Cynthia and Dexter will be back! We've all seen glimpses of this teams potential and on Sept. 19th they put it all together to capture a hard fought 5th place in one of the most spectacular performances I've ever seen from a first time World Finalist. Way to go Cynthia and Dexter!

This year's World Finals were truly a sight to see and with three dogs in the finals the Dallas Dog & Disc Club was well represented top to bottom, literally. Even after 13 years in this sport it is still very easy to stand back and be amazed at what I see. The athleticism of the dogs coupled with the imagination of the competitors seems to know no boundaries. Tune into the Animal Planet in November and I think you'll agree.

Still to come are the final shows at the Texas State Fair and then just as we are catching our breath we have the Texas State Dog and Disc Championships on Oct. 24th! Last year this was largest competition we hosted with approximately 50 dogs, and with all the activity over the past few weeks this year looks to be even bigger and better. Keith is working hard to make sure that this years Championship is the kind of success we can all be proud of, so if he calls and asks for a helping hand please don't say no.

Until our discs cross paths again, be safe and hug your dog!
