We are approaching the end of the busiest and one of the most exciting years in DDD history. The last few weeks we have been overflowing with activity as we provided our talents to such worthwhile causes as Wiggle Waggle Walkathon  benefiting the Dallas S.P.C.A, Walkin' the Dog for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Doggone Fun Run benefiting the Carrollton Humane Society and the Pet & People Walk benefiting the Warm Place Children's Charity. And, of course there has been the State Fair. There is no way that we as a club could commit to so much if it were not for the selfless contributions of so many of our members and the added hard work of Jim Still, Keith and Lori Friend, Paul and Terri West and Karen Ferguson. We all owe these DDD officers a large thank you. Keith especially has gone above and beyond the call of duty in the countless hours he has devoted in coordinating our activities. We all thank you Keith! During all of this Keith has also found the time to set up the Dallas Dog and Disc server whch now allows us all the capability to communicate with one another much more easily and quickly. Again, kudos to Keith.

In another bit of news, the club recently became much more self-sufficient with the purchase of a nifty new Honda generator. This now gives us much greater freedom in providing music and PA capabilities for shows and competitions, without the scrambling for on an outside power source. This is really exciting because it eliminates a logistical headache that has plagued us for years.
