Congratulations to Bob and Terri for bringing home first place trophies in Division 1 and 2 respectively at the recent ALPO West Open in San Francisco! With Bob's victory he became the first and only competitor to ever qualify for six consecutive World Finals - a feat that may never again be duplicated. Perhaps what makes this record all the more remarkable is that it has occurred
during a time in this sport when the competitive level of both the dogs and handlers are making dramatic improvements.  Having worked out with Bob for the past few years and having known and watched him even longer, I can tell you his success is a combination of not only Luke's wonderful talent, but also Bob's incredibly hard work. Perhaps at a future party we can pull out some old video tapes and everyone can see just how far Bob has really come when it comes to throwing a Frisbee. Anybody who believes you can't teach an old dog a new trick doesn't know Bob.
