When asked what he likes best about the DDD club, Guy says his favorite thing is the exhibitions.  He loved helping out with the State Fair.  He was able to perform with both Ace and Jazzber and just had a ball. He also enjoyed doing shows at the SPCA walk-a-thons this past fall and liked talking to the spectators at all these demos. Watching our World Finalist perform in these venues was fun too.  Guy feels you get a whole different show from the "big guys" when the pressure of competition is off and they are able to relax a bit.  In addition to exhibitions, Guy just likes what he termed as the other "dog nuts" in the club.  He likes the camaraderie and talking dog lingo.

When not throwing plastic, Guy works many hours as a systems manager at Alan Plummer & Associates, headquartered in Fort Worth with offices in Arlington and Austin.  This is an environmental engineering company that (how should I put

wouldn't trade this  for the world.
Guy started coming to the club after his discussions with Ron in 1995, but was not real active due to Bell's hip problems.  He became more active since he has been working with Ace and tried out his first competition at last year's Dallas Alpo Local.  He came in 6th place-Beginner Division in that contest.  He also came in 6th place - Beginner Division in the Texas State Championship later that fall.  However, the State Championship had cooler weather and about double the number of competitors as the June contest so Guy was very pleased with his placing.  He also won 1st place - Beginner in our Fun Match on Saturday.  Guy has had fun at these events showing off Ace's flips and twists which he says are his favorite moves.  He also likes the way Ace "hurdles" him.  This dog clears Guy and it is really fun to watch.  Guy is no slouch either.  He has some good throws to help show Ace off in the best light.
